Dr. Greg LaVecchia was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He attended Paul VI High School in Fairfax and then, in 1995, he completed his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, Dr. LaVecchia worked in the Department of Pathology, researching possible treatment modalities for cervical cancer. He has always been interested in promoting health and wellness.
Dr. LaVecchia graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which is widely recognized as being among the top universities in the United States. Established in 1863, it is the second-oldest dental school in continuous existence in the U.S. and has a longstanding tradition of comprehensive curriculum, including both strong academic and clinical training. Dr. LaVecchia maximized his time and learning while at Temple, and he has been devoted to continuing education and training throughout his career. Dr. Greg LaVecchia provides comprehensive dental care in Arlington, Virginia with a special focus on cosmetics, implant dentistry and TMJ treatments.
Dr. Greg LaVecchia lives in Arlington. He is very fortunate that his entire immediate family lives in the DMV. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, woodworking, sports and spending time with his wife, daughter, son and their beloved dog, Tito.
I absolutely love this office. The staff are very professional, personable as well as respectful of your time. Dr. LaVecchia is an HONEST dentist and his level of integrity is noticeable. He doesn't recommend procedures that are not in the best interest of his patient, which is huge for this industry.

Dr. LaVecchia is also a Fellow of the American Dental Implant Association (ADIA), which is a certification awarded to members who demonstrate the highest standards in implant dentistry and dedication to their profession. To certify, Dr. LaVecchia completed 150 hours of course credits from Implant Seminars, passed both a written and an oral examination, provided his current curriculum vitae and a letter of recommendation from another doctor who is an ADIA Fellow, and he attended the Annual Conference where his induction ceremony was held. Dr. LaVecchia wants to be the best dentist he can be, and he wants to give patients who are missing teeth a second chance for their smiles.
